A brief introduction to the three versions of the Black Forest Laboratory FLUX model

The FLUX models launched by Black Forest Labs come in three different versions: FLUX.1 [pro], FLUX.1 [dev], and FLUX.1 [schnell]. Here are the main differences between these three model types:
A. FLUX.1 [pro]: This is the base model that offers top-tier image generation performance, but it is only available via API and is not open source. It performs best in terms of image quality, detail, and prompt compliance, suitable for commercial use and high-demand applications.

B. FLUX.1 [dev]: This is an open-source guidance-distilled variant, provided under a non-commercial license, suitable for community use and further development. It offers similar quality and prompt compliance as FLUX.1 [pro], but with a greater emphasis on efficiency, suitable for non-commercial use.

C. FLUX.1 [schnell]: This is a streamlined version of the base model, with a speed increase of up to 10 times, provided under the Apache 2.0 license, suitable for personal and local development. This version maintains high performance while enhancing speed and efficiency, making it ideal for applications that require rapid image generation.
